Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where Is J4 Performance's Golf Simulator Lounge Located?
We are located at 4720 Highway 49 in Spirit River, Alberta along the North side of Highway 49 and directly west of Fountain Tire. The Golf Simulator Lounge is located in the main entrance of the building, consisting of two Full Swing Simulators, seating for up to 24 people, bar service, and multiple TV's.
2. How Much Does It Cost To Play?
Prices vary depending on the time of day. The "Day Time" price is $45 per hour (Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm) and the "Prime Time" price is $50 per hour (Monday - Friday after 3pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. Our hourly price is per simulator bay--not per person. This means that the total price per hour won't change no matter how many people are playing at your simulator bay or how many people are a part of your group.
3. Are Reservations Required?
Reservations are not required, but highly recommended. When booking your reservations online, you are able to view all the time blocks available and you can book weeks in advance. Walk in's are always welcome but we anticipate our simulator bays being full during primetime hours.
4. How Long Should I Book My Reservation For?
The length of time will vary, but a general rule of thumb to play 18 holes of golf is 45-60 minutes per person, per simulator. For example:

If you are booking a reservation for 2 people to play 18 holes of golf, you would book for 2 hours

If you are booking a reservation for 4 people to play 18 holes of golf, you would book for 4 hours

Golf experiences can be longer or shorter, depending on factors such as a) skill level, b) whether your group spends time warm up on the driving range beforehand, c) if you're playing with putting toggled ON or doing Auto Putt (no putting), and d) the game format you're playing (i.e., stroke play vs Texas Scramble).

IMPORTANT: These recommendations are approximate. It is your responsibility to manage your pace of play.
5. What Happens If We Run Out Of Time Before We Can Finish Our Round?
If time runs out and no one has your simulator bay reserved after you, you are welcome to stay and extend your play time for an additional cost. However, if there is another reservation booked right after you, you will be required to end your play time.
6. Should I Bring My Own Golf Clubs?
We recommend and encourage you to bring your own golf clubs! You are also allowed to use your friends' golf clubs. We currently do not have any rental golf clubs available , but we do hope to have some in the near future.

We do supply golf balls, but you are welcome to bring your own. Our simulators do not require golf balls to have any special markings on them.
7. What Else Do I Need To Bring?
We ask that customers bring CLEAN shoes to wear in our simulator bays. Dirty, outdoor footwear is NOT allowed in our simulator bays or in the golf simulator seating area. All outdoor footwear must be removed and placed on our shoe rack in the front entrance of our facility. Unfortunately, spiked golf shoes are not allowed because spikes will damage the artificial turf at a fast rate. However, you will find that most shoes provides plenty of a grip and there is no need for spiked shoes.
8. Do You Have Other Sports Available To Play On Your Simulators?
We're glad you asked! Our Full Swing simulators have a Multi-Sport software installed, with over 13 interactive sports and games to play, including hockey, soccer, dodgeball, and several arcade games!
9. Can We Rent The Simulators For A Corporate Event or Private Party?
We would love to host your next big get-together, and our Golf Simulator Lounge can host up to 24 people! If you are interested in booking a large social gathering, party, or special event, please contact info@j4performance.net and one of our team members will contact you to make it happen!
10. Am I Allowed to Bring My Own Alcohol & Food if I Rent A Simulator?
Outside alcohol is NOT allowed inside of our facility. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from our bar and must stay within the licensed area of our Golf Simulator Lounge. You are allowed to bring your own food from home and order food to be delivered to our facility, however, doing so it at your time and expense. In addition to a wide selection of alcoholic beverages we do have snacks for sale, and over time, we intend to add to our food menu.
11. Are Minors Allowed?
Yes! Minors are most definitely welcome. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in order to play on one of our simulators.
12. Am I Allowed To Come In For Food & Drinks?
Absolutely! We have additional seating so that up to 12 people can occupy each simulator bay. If you are part of a group who's booked the simulator (i.e., birthday party, corporate event), but you are not playing, you are welcome to socialize with your group and enjoy food & drinks.
