The 1-on-1 Experience
Physical Screening Assessment

During your 1st session, you will be guided through a full body physical assessment for joint mobility, stability, strength and power.
Based on your screening results, I will teach you specific drills to address any movement limitations, which will provide a foundation for future programs.
We then transition into a full body workout based on the primal movement patterns to develop more efficient movement.
Your Training Session
1. Mind-Body Preparation
Before we do anything, I want to make sure that you are prepared for your session. The first 5 minutes is the time to shift your focus to what's relevant right here, right now:
Training For Your Purpose
We do this through visualization, goal setting and focused breathwork. We then transition into a general to specific warm up, which includes exercises based on your physical screening results.
2. Integrated Movement
Following the warm up, I will teach and guide you through exercises that integrate the links in your body to help produce better movement.
3. Mind-Body Reset
We have dialed up the intensity, and now it's time to dial it down. I will guide you through relaxation poses paired with breathing techniques to prepare you for the rest of your day.

What is a training program?
A training program is a long-term plan designed to improve one's mental and physical health based on the principle of progressive overload. Simply put, progressive overload can be defined as applying a physical stress to the body greater than before. For some people, the application of progressive overload may be as simple as adding two reps. The most common form of progressive overload is increasing the weight lifted, but there are several other variables to be considered when designing a training program.
Why do I need my own training program?
Everyone wants to see results, which stems from a commitment to a plan that progressively builds over time. Random workouts are simply that: random. A training program provides you with a plan for when you go to the gym so that you're not spending time thinking about what you're going to do once you arrive.
What makes your approach to training different from other trainers?
When designing training programs and workouts for my clients, I always ask myself the following questions:
-
What is the purpose of the exercise?
-
What is the best tool (equipment) to produce a desirable outcome for this specific individual?
-
Is there a better solution?
Once I've created a plan, I understand that the training program is not set in stone. Some days, an exercise will need to changed for another. The same goes with the amount of weight lifted, whether someone needs to regress or progress an exercise, and so on. Adaptability enables me to meet my client where they're at on a given day.
